I am a retired N.A.S.A. Lunar Scientist who has been taking pictures of the hidden, but beautiful world of the very small for 25 years. My exotic and exciting images are made through the microscope at high magnification. The subjects I select are vitamins, medical compounds, and lunar rocks.
My first art book, "Natures Crystal Flowers" was published in 2001. I have published numerous articles in scientific journals in the fields of Lunar Geology, Antarctic Geology, microscopy, mineralogy, and paleontology. The multicolored abstract forms have appeared on the covers of magazines as well as scientific literature. I have won several competitions in the world of photography, and have received awards and prizes for my work.
I am a retired research scientist from Battelle Research Laboratories in Richland, Washington. My training has been in Geology and Geochemistry, and I earned a Ph.D. at the University of Okalahoma.
Present Art Gallery Representation: Boca Raton, Florida and Madrid, Spain.
